Download BeamDisk

BeamDisk is in beta on TestFlight, Apple's app for trying apps before they're released, and the beta is free to join. The official Mac App Store release is coming soon.

Beta places are limited

The TestFlight beta has a limited number of places. Once they're all taken, the link says the beta is full and you can't join for now. You can then wait for the beta to be expanded with more places, or for the Mac App Store release. The link stays the same, so try it again later.

What you need

A Mac with Apple Silicon on macOS 27 or later, and an iSCSI target on a storage server or SAN (tested with TrueNAS). Wired Ethernet is recommended. To join the beta, you also need Apple's free TestFlight app from the Mac App Store.

Join the beta

1. Install TestFlight from the Mac App Store.
2. On your Mac, open the beta link. TestFlight opens at BeamDisk: accept the invitation, then install it.
3. Open BeamDisk and turn it on, then add your first disk.

The Mac App Store release

BeamDisk is coming to the Mac App Store soon, where anyone can download it, with no limit on places. When it's out, this page links there. What it will cost is on the pricing page.
